Post by: Ronvandyn on February 08, 2010, 01:20:44 PM
Howdy all!

A few weeks ago I stumbeled on a web site that specialzed in the direct sale of older military surplus weapons.  I have since lost the link and for the life of me cannot find the site again.  Can anyone help?

There is always the Civilian Marksmanship Program (http://www.odcmp.com/).  Not sure if that is what you were looking for.

Not quite.  The site I had direct sold items like the M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, and I think the M-14/M1a1.  It listed them for sale by quality of the weapon, some going for as little as $300 and the one's on "like new" went for more than $2000.  I just cant seem to find the darn thing again.

Well that sounds like Civilian Marksmanship Program (www.odcmp.com) (http://www.odcmp.com) which is the same as www.thecmp.org (http://www.thecmp.org), though they are pretty short on firearms these days.

Heck, right now the BATF/E is chucking out type 03 FFLs in about two weeks.  Snag one of those and the whole C&R world is at your fingertips!
