I am all for paying for a halfway ticket home for him, and let him either swim or hope they come get him for the other half of the trip.

Yeah, believe it or not he's even more hated in England than he is here. IIRC he's wanted for questioning in their phone hacking scandal. Plus, he got caught faking photos of British soldiers abusing prisoners.
