Title: Nebraska Legislature: Castle Doctrine heard in judiciary committee today
Post by: DanClrk51 on February 05, 2010, 03:31:41 AM
LB 889 "Castle Doctrine" had its public hearing today. Here are two media stories about it. Please post comments on their boards. We want to create as much buzz as possible to get this thing more attention so we can pass it this year. Remember controversy gives attention and that is what we need right now.

YES! There are 5 or 6 small towns in Howard county and around 6500 people according to 2000 census. Including a lot of my relatives thank you very much.  A county with even 1 Nebraskan in it still counts!

No offense intended.   His comment ?We have enough people in the state killing each other. This will make it easier,? makes it sound like Howard County is the murder capital of Nebraska.
