Title: Newbie looking for training in Western NE

Hey guys,

I am new to this forum so be gentle.  Anyway does anybody know of any good pistol and carbine training opportunities in Western NE.  I live in Lincoln County and dont really want to travel to Lincoln or Omaha to take a pistol course if I dont have to.

got the pm's guys.  I guess I was looking for something that was already put together because I dont know enough gun guys or have access to much for range facilities to put a class together. 

Maybe it would be helpful if others would weigh in and indicate if they are interested in getting some training out in the NP area.  If we get enough guys interested we might be able to make something happen.

You can go to the NRA website and drill down to 'Training' - 'Nebraska' and see what might be close.  This link may work.  There are classes in Broken Bow as well as North Platte listed for September and October...

There are a number of traveling instructors operating in the US, Givens and Ayoob immediately come to mind.  Doesn't North Platte have a nice shooting range/complex? 

Get some folks together and make it happen.
