Tom, the sporting goods manager, said he has some AR's coming in at 9am. He had one customer waiting on one at 7am. I have five already, so I am full up on those.
They still have a couple boxes each .38 +p, .22, one box of 20 .223 for $20 (pretty high at a buck a shot, especially for Wal-Mart)
I could not resist, and went to my vehicle, and went in again. Wal-Mart now has a one box limit for each box of .22.
They have several boxes of .22 left, I did not wipe them out.
I purchased 1150 rounds for $205 including tax. All .22 & .40 S&W.
Yesterday I purchased 9 Remington 597 mags.
Getting up at 6:30 in the morning to find gun supplies is getting a bit old.

North Lincoln Wal-Mart will have no inventory put out tomorrow, as it is inventory day, so I can sleep in. Hit it again Thursday.

Are you absolutely sure about that? I suppose all the Walmarts do things a little differently, but when I asked the south Walmart the same question, the young lady said they WOULD put out the shipment tomorrow, but not until after it was inventoried in the back. She estimated that it would be on the shelves around 10:00-11:00AM.

Tom at the north Lincoln store said no ammo tomorrow. He is the manager. Now did he mean to express to me, no ammo at 7am? Maybe. He said there might be ammo on Thursday, but would not know till Wed afternoon.
I wonder how many AR's they sold today? I got the impression they were expecting a couple. They might be in the Thursday shipment ??

I talked to the co-manager of the 84th street & highway 2 Walmart and he said that they are taking inventory on Thursday, so even if ammo comes in on Wed night they won't be putting it out until Friday morning.

I stand corrected. Gary and GreyGeek are correct. I also called the south Walmart and received the same story. No more ammo going out on the shelves until Friday.

All the stores doing inventory on the same day? That seems like a massive burden. I could see staggering that out a bit. Inventory companies come to town to do that for some companies, and to do multiple stores at the same time, requires a larger crew. Even doing one store in a day, on the size of a Wal-Mart would be an undertaking.
