Title: Brownell's backorders.
Post by: 00BUCK on February 06, 2013, 08:38:57 PM
Although i am still bent out of shape that my PMAGs I ordered on 12/23 haven't shipped and some people that ordered in January got theirs, I found this quite humorous.

Was a great flick, was a great scene.

Been used countless times for countless other subjects for rants.

I have stuff I ordered from them that was in stock and still hasn't shipped after 2 weeks.  It's crazy, I've never seen anything like it.

Even Brownells played to the situation by posting this on their Facebook page.
With that, I can feel comfortable doing business with them.  They stated they have been revisiting their whole process as they never envisioned such a immediate increase that overwhelmed their systems.  Being able to induce a little humor into the situation tells me they are still human.

I agree buddy! I just wish others would be just like them.

Just received my PMAG's from Brownells via the Big Brown Truck today  ;D

Finally, ordered 12/19, and I was beginning to wonder if they'd every show up.

Got a Brownell box UPS today, ordered 1-30-13

3 Kriss MagEx G30 Magazine extensions.

Very happy camper!

All the ammo missing from that box of 10mm is in that mag!

The irony in all this is scheel's has 1,000,000 Pmags now.

I don't know how I missed this thread originally but I've seen many variations of that video and this is by far the funniest one I have ever seen.  It's really great.  Thanks for sharing!

Well, I'd agree mostly in the fact that the panic buying has settled some, however I didn't see anything at Scheels last week other than aluminum and ProMag's.

They're still selling for $25-$40 on GunBroker and local dealers, if they have them  :(
308 pmags are still in very short supply and highly inflated prices.

Regardless, I'm very happy, Brownells followed through as they said, without any gouging. Customer service has been top notch and the price couldn't be beat IMO.
