Title: NFA Reviews
Post by: CitizenClark on October 21, 2013, 09:49:27 AM
Check out this new website for NFA dealer reviews, created by the guy who is behind NFA Tracker: http://www.nfareviews.com/ (http://www.nfareviews.com/)

I sent along my list of Nebraska NFA dealers, so all Nebraska's listing needs now is some reviews.

Seems silly that you can't read them without registering for an account.  For posting, I can see that, but reading...?

They're going to need a whole different server for all the Exeter Arms complaints!

lol!

on a side note... American Reaper Arms is now in Bennett, not Columbus.

on another note, i'm surprised that NE has 15 C3 dealers.  i knew most of them, but not all.

Wow...I've had nothing but good experiences there.  Of course, I've got my own list of places that I dislike for my own reasons, too....

Right, but why should you have to register for an account just to read the reviews?  Seems...well...just a way to gather more names/emails in their database?

FWIW, I know the guy, and he is a hobbyist just like us. I have never gotten a spam email from him, and I've been signed up as an NFA Tracker user for nearly a year.

Also, I believe you can see the review results without signing up, just not the full text of the reviews, right?

Be careful of who you side with.  Rob is crooked as the day is long!  No need to look further than all the complaints listed at the gun shows.  I'm just lucky I got my $1k+ back from him after the "ATF" lost my paperwork!

Not "siding".  Just stating my experiences.  Obviously you had a different one.  That's unfortunate.

What can a person do if this man took your check, cashed it, then never submited your paperwork to the feds?

If you haven't talked to him yet, do that first.

If he still refuses, then I'd say get advice from Chris C.  You may have to take him to small claims court to get relief.

BTW, this is what they said when I messaged "Exeter Arms" on facebook to ask them about it:

Exeter Arms
4:31pm
We are having some tax issues. Nothing to do with a raid by the atf. We are open as notmal. Not a member of the message board. Could you please spread the word it's only a tax issue and its being worked on.

Take that however you want, but thought I'd at least post what they're saying since I bothered to ask.

Would if they hadn't removed their facebook page.  Things are not looking good...  Guess more of the stories may be true than I wanted to believe.  As I said, *I* never had a problem dealing with any of them.
