Title: CHP holders Class of January 2007
Post by: Dan W on August 30, 2016, 11:36:04 PM
Sept 1st marks the first day we may apply for renewals.

My understanding is that unexpired permits can be renewed with no additional training required even after 10 years since your initial training certificate was issued.

There are no provisions in the Concealed Handgun Act that require retraining unless you allow your permit to expire, so don't dawdle :D

I will be applying for renewal soon after labor day, and remember, early renewal does not effect your expiration date.

Carry on!

AND... if you have not already done so

Please consider legal defense issues BEFORE you are forced to pull that trigger in a defensive use of lethal force.

I recommend joining the Armed Citizens Legal Defense Network

Bummer... NSP says I have to wait until the actual expiration day to fall within the 4 month window, so I have to wait until the 29th to apply. ::)
