Scratch that... The new POS needed a restart! That was close guys....
But they have been slowly filtering the forum out.... I can only get to the today's posts... and every so often they will block a thread. Wednesday i could pull up the first holster discussion thread and Thursday I couldn't. I am sure soon the day will come where I will totally get blocked.
Carry on and have a FUN and SAFE Independence Day!

I can't look at anything dealing with guns at my work, but oh well, it is their computer.
Our CEO just marched in the Gay, Lesbian, Trans Gender parade in the Twin Cities.
I am so proud...
The corprate world is full of PC ninnies.

Honestly I don't mind either. We had very few restrictions until we started getting bought out a year and a half ago and they started to update to the new company standards. Then the no firearm related pop ups started. But you can still shop any internet retailer or visit ESPN to get your sports fix.

I can get to NebraskaFirearms.org but not to NebraskaGunShows.com.

Not quite full. I know of one company that offers a benefits package that includes company issued practice ammo, re-reimbursement for firearms classes (and CHP fees), encourages CC at work, has paid range days, and occasionally takes long breaks to visit the NFOA forums and other very gun related sites whilst waiting for things to compile or upload.

I think I know of another one.

As you should be!
What about us poor construction workers?....we don't even have computers available to us! Thank Heavens for my smart phone! Sometimes I have to duck into an electrical room just to respond to Anti's on the NFOA facebook page!

considering where I work, I am surprised i can surf all of my gun forums and purchase gun stuff over the net. but considering im not glued to facebook 24/7 or going to rogue websites, i'll be ok.

The internet filtering service used by a lot of companies defaults to dis-allow shopping, guns, porn and other time wasting activities. Your IT department can customize it if you talk nice to them (and buy them cookies). If they haven't blocked proxy services, you could use one of those to get around the filter but that is another can of worms.

I still use my dumb phone from when I was a poor construction worker...
Still using a PC for visiting forums.
Facebook! What is that??

With respect, at work I have a huge issue with people wasting company time looking at their phones, or surfing the web or shopping online.
When at work, we are paid to WORK.

I'm the IT guy who configures those filters a lot of the time and reports on them. For every bit of surfing you do I would make sure there are 50 work related websites in there if they are reading the reports so they don't say you are surfing more than working.
