This is a 5 hour advanced training course on the Nebraska law of self defense taught by a Nebraska use of force lawyer who represents law enforcement statewide in use of force incidents, including representing more than 100 LEOs in grand jury proceedings following a justifiable homicide in the line of duty.

I just attended a US Law Shield seminar with Dick Clark on the 7th, and he said that she wasn't charged with a crime.  Given that this article is 1 1/2 months old, my guess is that they initially planned to charge her but the DA dropped it.

That said, she got really lucky not to get charged for shooting at a fleeing suspect.

More recent article. Looks like the initial charge has been dropped. Yes, she got lucky.
