i want to get my conceal license, but i need a holster. what should i look for in a holster? where should i carry it on my body? the holster will also need to be able to hold my TLR1while attached to the M&P 40. the gun is not a compact.
ps - i shoot left handed.
any and all help is appreciated and needed!

Chris Z.'s site has some pretty good suggestions. I found my CC holster there, and there is a wide range of them available.

That is going to be a very difficult holster to find. At best you might be able to located an Outside the waist band holster for this gun/light combo and then you will have to conceal with a coat. (Doesn't help in a Nebraska summer though). Looks like Bladetech makes a paddle holster for this combo:

These holsters are held in high regard by a number of law enforcement trainers nationwide.
It is my understanding that they will make them in a LH version.

yep, very true! i bought a holster that met my requirements. but they are really backed up..... try 40 business days!!! since its business days, ill get my holster and stuff around april.
the actual raven concealment sends you to another website that has pics and options for the holsters and other stuff. they actually have quite a few different models to choose from and even allowing for tactical light capabilites.
