Title: Kearney CCW holder has handgun in luggage at airport

Randy Black, 37, is charged in Buffalo County Court with violating his carrying a concealed weapon permit when he allegedly had a loaded Walther PPS .40-caliber semi-automatic handgun in his carry-on luggage at the airport Sept. 25.

As usual the media can't get the facts straight. Carrying in a posted place is not a Class III Misdemeanor (petty). If it was it would not be 90day jail term and $500 fine. If memory serves correct this is a Class I Misdemeanor. And yeah he probably forgot that he had it in there.
