Nice looking 1911!
Gifted my dad a SA GI issue 1911 a while back. As a former serviceman, he was quite happy :).
A nice 1911 is definitely missing from my collection .... but can't decide what style I want etc hehehe. Not to mention the usual nasty price tag heh.
To repeat, gorgeous! :)

Very nice, I've heard the Springfield Operators are good guns.
-
I put 50-100 rounds through the GI version, no problems at all. Cleaning was easy as well.

Nice buy!!
I love my Lightweight Champion Operator.. I'm sure you'll love your operator as well!
-
still havent shot it yet, waiting till this Saturday
i plan on swapping the guide ride out for a tool-less dawson one.
managed to snag this up for less than half the price i see them go for on gunbroker ;D

The prices on Gunbroker for the full rail TRP are crazy. I have the regular
TRP Operator(half rail) and love it.
