Is that a chunk of lead at the base of the sabot? If so, what's to keep it from tumbling? Does the wrapping around the sabot cause it to spin so it will be stable?

how far out the shell does it protrude?
doesn't take make it a 1 shot kind of deal? how would you cycle a 2nd round of this?

The youngsters at work tell me that there are some You-Tube vids.
Haven't had time to check them out yet, but said to really put a dent in plate steel.

I'm skeptical. 12g isn't going to have a lot of velocity, even if it does have a lot of mass. I would think you'd have to be pretty close to the target for it to retain enough energy to penetrate an engine block. That kind of makes it impractical for stopping a moving vehicle.
Edit: Ok, they're claiming 1900 FPS. I doubt if it keeps that velocity for long, though.
