anyone going to watch American blackout tonight? Its on National Geographic at 8 pm,
from the previews, I don't think they take it serious enough
-
i have it on my DVR. i won't be able to watch it for a few days. what was your impression of the show?
-
its fair. almost. so many stupid people, and I mean DUMB, don't even own a hand can opened. , hell, I carry one in my knife every day, guess some people are that bad. Im just used to having power outages, have a generator and well,
its just showing how most people will be worthless if anything happens
-
well that show was a waste of time, I thought it was gonna be a weekly thing like the preppers show, NOPE!. 2 hours and its over, all the power came back on
and the stupid yuppies who didn't have a can opener, just rub the can on cement and wear the crimp off, then pry the lid off
-
i finally was able to see this. yea, its got bad and good parts. for the characters, i think it did a good job on a few aspects... like the guy who wanted to sue his building in the beginning and was totally unprepared and couldn't grasp what was happening. and the prepper's daughter's boyfriend, i knew he was stupid. i hope my daughter doesn't date a guy like him....

I just watched it today. It was entertaining but the ending was so so. The series Revolution was recommended to me so I am giving that a go next.
A coward blocks and hides when he is not man enough to confront in person.
