Title: Eagle Scout Board of Review Jan 20 2016
Post by: DenmanShooter on January 20, 2016, 09:05:47 PM
This evening, we had a young man before the board whose project was installing concrete walkways between trap positions and to the club house.

A small shooting club in South Central Nebraska with three trap boxes.

The walk from clubhouse to shooting positions and shooting positions to trap boxes was always muddy in the spring or anytime it rained.

At sixteen, this young man was 3rd place in the state high school trap shooting last year.

He shoots a Browning single shot 12 gauge with a custom fitted stock for trap.

He shoots an over/under 20 gauge for turkey season and a .243 for deer season.

Smart kid, sharp and impressive.

It was fun talking to him about his shooting experiences, and never to leave grandpa alone for a while when hunting because he fills everyone's tags when they run an errand.  :)

The future is good out here.
