Title: Matzen Gunworks in Bellevue Ne.
Post by: FORAY on December 14, 2014, 12:15:52 PM
Is anyone familiar with this gunsmith?
If so were you happy with his quality of work?
If not what were you dissatisfied with?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I know him through gunshows. He's a good guy, never heard anything bad about him.

Bought a gun or two from him, but have not had any work done by him.
I did check out a revolver that he did some trigger work on, seemed very nice.

I've had Dave install some new sights on a Ruger 10/22.  He took the time to do it while I was there and saved me a trip back to Bellevue.  He works  out of his house and you will have to set up a meet with him as he does have a "real" job.   I would take work back to him again.  He is a FFL and posts on other area FB gun forums.
