Want to see a 5 year old boy grin from ear to ear? Hand him a suppressed .22 SBR and a bunch of loaded mags.

i'm pretty sure anyone would grin ear to ear with a suppressed 22 SBR.
you're probably the coolest uncle ever!

...and about 24 hours before the picture was taken that same SBR (although with a different - but still short and suppressed - upper receiver) was used to harvest the deer I had for dinner tonight. Take that, everyone who says an AR isn't good for anything.

SWEEEET on both counts.

And yes, I should have been wearing eye protection. I gave them to the tyke :)

That's awesome. Strong work Brian!

That would make me grin from ear to ear! ;D
You sir are a great uncle. I wish all kids (young & old) had cool uncles and dads like this.

^^ Definitely!..shucks, I was 45 yrs old before anyone handed me a suppressed rifle, and yes I did grin..especially after hitting the steel at over 1,000 yards (OK..hit it on my second shot).
~8 months ago, .308 Win. I have not jumped on the suppressor band wagon yet...got plenty of ear plugs still.

I've posted this pic before but I get a kick out of it so I'm posting it again. This is my daughter and I at the NFOA member's meeting a couple years ago. Pre-suppressor, and the gun was just getting broken in so I still had the occasional jam. Now it's extremely reliable. I just sent the barrel off to be cut down another 2" so it will keep bulk ammo subsonic, so it's going to be even shorter now.
BTW, my daughter considers this "her" gun. She doesn't have the arm strength to shoot without a rest, but from a bench she can ding a 3" steel spinner all day long with it.
