Any interest in taking over a diner on a weekend for coffee and bullguano?
Just testing the waters, y'all be game for this sometime in the not to distant future?

But, I already have breakfast with several friends on Saturday mornings at Hiway Diner, so during that time I would not be available

if i can, i'm game. saturdays would work the best for me.

I'm surprised I've never run into you there. That's my daughter and I's favorite place for breakfast.

Don't ya know, It's breakfast before 7, lunch by 11, supper done before 5 and bedtime by 8. Dan only has a few more years before he won't be able to stay up so late ;)

I'll scout for a few carry friendly places around central lincoln tomorrow and go from there.

y'all just want to do Hi-Way? things kind of stacked themselves up on me yesterday and i didn't get a chance to check any other places.
seems like most of you I know are more towards that side of town, i'm probably the farthest east at 84rth and O.

Thats the plan. Bob and I talked about trying to do it once a month, maybe Omaha, Gretna, Ashland area as well as getting one going in the western part of Nebraska as well.

its a great way to meet like-minded people and help get everyone on the same page and get energized. God knows we'll need all the help and presence at the capitol this year.

Maybe we should split this...Omaha Roundup crew and Lincoln Roundup crew? Once we get a few regulars we can meet in Ashland/Gretna area and take over a coffee shop.
I know RobertH is busy with life right now, so he may not be able to go for it. Wallace? NE Bull? HuskerXDM? Any other lincoln guys care to chime in?
