Is the Event Center posted No CHP?  I realize this has been discussed ad nauseam in the past but still.......

NO gun show in Nebraska allows carry of loaded weapons, its because of the only company that sells insurance in Nebraska for gun shows. either no carry. or no gun show,

I am here at the LEC for something else and I didn't see anything on the doors I came in indicating it was gun-free. I checked because I am part of the security for our event.

NO gun show in Nebraska allows carry of loaded weapons, its because of the only company that sells insurance in Nebraska for gun shows. either no carry. or no gun show,
Very true. Should I decide to walk down to the other end of the building I will have to lock it up first.

    the building itself is posted. on the outside door. Is that a city building or private? there are large signs posted on the outside doors.

You'd think a group like the NRA could form a company that provides insurance for gun shows.  It'd probably make them a lot of money, and it'd bring an end of this nonsense about no lawful carry at a gun show.  The NRA offers a few types of insurance already; it doesn't seem like it'd be that difficult for them to add this to what they offer.
