I saw this morning Cabela's had .22 tracers for sale on line. I had found these elsewhere also, but Oh Man Pricey! (250 rounds for $99 !)
I looked again later and they were OUT OF STOCK!
First who would pay that?
But then I a think- What fun that might be!?
Anyone here ever use such critters?
-
Not that much more expensive than regular .22 lr right now...

tracers arnt that much fun for the guy shooting them, all you see is a red dot getting smaller, you have to be off to the side to see the streak,
-
Would not want to be the guy that fired the tracer, that started the fire, that burned down the range, that spread to the eastern part of Nebraska...... :o
Folks might talk about THAT person for a long time...

Humor, Right??
(Wasn't that You in line just ahead of me??)

there is a youtube video of a guy with a full auto 10/22 shooting tracers, its pretty cool

Shooting .50 tracers at dusk on a range that is clear for a couple miles is a lot of fun. Looks like a white hot golf ball heading downrange.
Spotter/tracer was even more fun...
