FULL pending receipt of applications...

Limited to the first 15 shooters to sign up, DCPrecision Carbine Shootouts are a great time! Come out and compete against each other in a series of consecutively more difficult stages for your chance at taking first place. Prizes will be awarded to the top shooters. Please contact us directly if you wish to sign up. More details can be found on our website www.dcprecisionllc.com (http://www.dcprecisionllc.com)

Registration Fee - $50
Round Count - 200 Rifle / 100 Pistol (you probably won't shoot it all)
Date - Sunday November 10th
Time - 9:00am until complete
Location - Nebraska Shooters in Firth (20 minutes south of Lincoln)

The following sponsors have contributed to the prize table. (more pending)

American Reaper Arms - Free SWR Warlock .22 suppressor
DCPrecision - 50% off any course
Safety Systems Group - 25% off any Tactical Pistol Course

Here are a few details about the shootout to give you some idea of how it will go.

** There will be a total of 10 stages, some rifle only, some pistol only, some combined, and it looks like one with a shotgun thrown in as well (the shotgun and shells will be provided)

** Scoring will vary by stage to determine your place then a point system will be used. For example the final stage is time based plus penalties. Once everyone has shot, your place will be determined and points awarded. 1st place gets 1 point, 2nd 2 points and so on. The lowest overall points by the end wins.

** Some stages will be heavily based on marksmanship, some heavily based on speed, some will be a combination of speed and accuracy.

** Physical and mental stress will be present in some stages. For example, some stages require a fair amount of movement, some require none. At the first shootout, one stage was based on a KIMS (Keep In Memory System) game. We will do this again for one of the stages so this adds the mental stress.

Bump for what looks like a fun event.  I'm already shooting in John's PRS match otherwise I'd give this one a try.
