Title: Lincoln Shooting Sports Complex March 2014
Post by: UPCrawfish on October 18, 2013, 10:47:56 AM
Posted on the Nebraska Game and Parks site this morning...

excerpt:  "The Lincoln Shooting Park and Education Center is a joint venture between the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission and the City of Lincoln Parks and Recreation Department. The project was made possible in large part thanks to a grant from the Easton Sports Development Foundation. Other partners include the Lincoln Prairie Bowmen Archery Club, Lincoln Trap and Skeet Club, and the Archery Trade Association. The Commission is actively seeking additional partnerships to make this new educational and public shooting complex a reality for thousands."

WOW! I wonder why a certain group didn't even get the honorable mention as was promised.
I will have to get our people in touch with their people.

Big Shots invests in their business, later to learn this is walking in behind them.   This city shooting range was on the planning for many years, odd something has now lit a fire under the project.

Good to see more choices, as long as the traffic for this will support three indoor shooting ranges in Lincoln.  Do we have the need for three indoor shooting ranges in Lincoln?   Interesting to note, all of them are north of O street.

Interesting... I hadn't heard that a third range was moving in to town.
