I saw someone on Facebook do this and thought I would follow suit, only taking it a step further.
I have some .22 that was donated to me for youth training.
I will offer up 100 rounds for $0 to any young boy/ girl that received a .22 rifle(or pistol) for Christmas but does not have ammo to shoot. (offer goes until this donated ammo runs out).
All I ask is a pic of your child with their rifle/ pistol and/or they accompany you to pick up the ammo in West Lincoln. Offer goes thru to the weekend and is for NFOA members and their children or grandchildren.
No place to shoot? I maybe able to help with that also.
(PLEASE do not take advantage of my generosity to horde ammo or resale >:D )
You can contact me thru email at jcady.nfoa@gmail.com or PM me here.
Have a Merry Christmas and Healthy, Liberty, and Happiness in the New Year
EDIT: I also have a huge supply of eye-pro and ear plugs if they are needed.

Very thoughtful and generous.

Nice gesture. Nothing worse than having a new toy and no ammo to shoot with it.

NE Bull... curious if you've had any takers yet. Most of the membership here is probably better prepared than most in the general population. Maybe you could get the word out through some boy scout groups or similar.
Very generous gesture on your part!
Oops... just noticed your offer was intended for NFOA members and family... nothing wrong with that!

One member contacted me, but I haven't heard back since.
I also posted this on my personal FB page, the NFOA FB page (because not everyone there is a member here (grr) ) and a couple other pages I moderate in. I thought about posting in some of the FB exchanges, but those folks are happy with overpaying for ammo.
I even cramped up my hands trying to repackage in 100 containers. ;) The pain I put myself thru.

This is a great idea. I will gladly chip in if you have more takers, just let me know.
