Title: Bi-Fold Wallets
Post by: thirtydaZe on January 30, 2014, 12:55:18 PM
Anyone make, or have a good one?  I've been a money clip guy for a few years now, and i really love it, however, with my CCW, NRA, permit to purchase, etc, all my cards have added up.

I bought a card carrier (RFID) from cableas, it's fine, but carrying the money clip and the card holder is just getting to be 1 other thing to juggle around.

Looked at Bellroy, Wurkin Stiff, but pretty pricey.

My problem is i carry about 9 cards, need something to put cash in, want it flat yet convenient.

Never hurts to ask i guess.

I just have a cheap "George" brand bi fold from wallyworld. Holds all I need to, mainly because I don't carry much cash.

I carry way too much junk in my wallet. I've carried one of these for about 6 or 7 years: http://www.all-ett.com/mens-wallets/nylon-wallet/softtech-nylon-original-wallet.html (http://www.all-ett.com/mens-wallets/nylon-wallet/softtech-nylon-original-wallet.html)

It's just about time to order a new one. It has lasted about 3 times as long as I expected. The material isn't significantly thicker than a sheet of heavy paper.

I had been a money clip (slim clip) guy for years, but the NRA and CHP cards pushed me over the limit.  I went with this.

Now, my phone is my wallet.  I made a card holder out of 2" wide clear shipping tape, that holds 10 cards, and that is under the two card slot.  Problem solved.

Sorry about the stupid image, I thought I was grabbing just one image.  lol

Mine is black & brown, my wife went with pink.

I have the LA Wallet from County Comm and am quite happy with it.  It's very small so it helps me keep the crap in my wallet to a minimum.

thanks for the ideas.  a couple i hadn't seen in my research.

i got my card holder at cabelas, real nice quality, i might go check their wallets, i known they had tons, just wasn't in the market at the time.

my card holder actually claims RFID on it, i was surprised.

problem with cabelas, a 20$ trip could mean me a few hundred dollars, and an explanation when i get home!

Bass Pro Shop has a good selection of bi folds.  I've been using the same one of theirs for going on 10 years.
