Title: Omaha Gun Registrations

Can someone enlighten me here. I was thinking that the new laws passed this year and that went into effect the other day would have voided Omaha's gun purchasing registration with Omaha PD. I asked a guy at Guns Unlimited about on Saturday and he said that you still have to register any handgun purchased in Omaha.

LB430 only had to do with carrying a concealed handgun in Omaha.  It has nothing to do with the purchase of one in the city limits.  Go to Cabela's or the BH.  Maybe Guns Unlimited, Scheels, et al. will move out of Omaha as a protest one day.
