Classic! After Bloomberg annoounced his recent campaign to strengthen proGun organizations across the nation...
...no one on the staff of his 50 million dollar infringement group thought it would be wise to secure their spot on facebook, the world's largest social media outlet...
So someone else did... The page is growing much more rapidly than Bloomberg could have ever imagined!
I hit like yesterday night & it was at 17,000 some odd likes, this morning it has over 24,000 likes & growing by the minute....
We will see how long facebook will let the page stand before big liberal money has it's way.
Check it out & give them a 'like'. I'm having trouble sharing the link this morning on my phone....just Google search 'everytown for gun safety Facebook'....
While typing this it eclipsed 25k! Get on over there and lets make a statement.

The FaceBook page looks well done and has good intentions. I supported it :)

Unbelievable. It was being ran very well, there was no hype, no over the top language at all.

What are the chances it comes back, same name, with bloomberg written all over it?

Yep...
“We’re going through the proper process for transitioning our Demand Action page to ‘Everytown,’ which takes a few weeks, and acquiring trademark protection for both Everytown and Everytown for Gun Safety. Once that happens, we expect Facebook to shoo these cybersquattters politely off this name/page,” a spokesperson for Everytown for Gun Safety told BuzzFeed.

Thanks for the updates Fly.
I am guessing the "new and improved" Everytown page isn't going to be quite as popular as the previous one. Looking forward to the comments already.

One article I read said the NRA recommended they pull it in fear of copyright infringement/ lawsuit from someone with deep pockets and lawyers st the ready. Probably a sound idea given the circumstances.
