Title: Legislative Alert from NRA concerning Mayor Chris Beutler

 Apparently Mayor Chris Beutler has been flagged by the NRA because he has joined Bloomberg's  MAIG(Mayors Against Illegal Guns). Certainly no law-abiding gun owner is pro illegal guns but the group has been shown to be anti legal ownership in many ways. The most recent alert from the NRA shows that at least 40 mayors have resigned their membership from Bloombergs group.

Has anyone contacted Beutler over this and urged him to withdraw or is the idea to oppose anti-gun bills, reform and nominations,etc, and leave their affiliations alone. Just curious. I haven't seen any mention of it here in the forum.

Omaha's Mayor Jim Suttle joined also along with Ralston Mayor Donald Groesser
