Title: Your input wanted: After work/school dryfire classes
Post by: wallace11bravo on May 17, 2014, 08:26:28 PM
The LASR Team (MWTS and Centrolutions) are preparing to move into a much larger facility near 48th and Cornhusker in Lincoln. The facility will include ~280sqft of office space for shipping and receiving, general office stuff, and some other odds and ends. We will be having regular office hours, and walk-ins and "warehouse sales" will be welcome (although calling ahead is recommended)

AND we will have ~300 sqft of space which will dedicated for things like filming promo videos and demonstrations for visitors. In addition to this, MWTS plans to start offering regularly scheduled dryfire classes in this area.

The only prerequisites for students will be:

I am hoping to start holding these classes in early July, after I return from a few weeks of training reservists in Kalifornia. We are hoping to have the office up and running by the end of the week.

So, my question for you:

What time/dates would typically work best with your schedule?

Out of thin air, I am thinking Tuesdays from 6-8pm. Your input is appreciated.

I like it!
My input (with absolutely no scientific data) would be Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursdays.

Good thought. I like it, my schedule is all jacked up due to college student and fulle time work and all that. So I can't really offer an opinion on times. What I can do is say that the short 1.5-2 hour class idea is an excellent one. Most people I talk to that say they can't do classes cite the reason of most classes are all day types.

Out of plan curiosity, where at 48th and Cornhusker will you be? The old Pie Hole suite? I work just south of there...

Great idea, and once things get finalized, I will have to stop in and check it out!

Sorta, same building. Our space is upstairs.

I got some preliminary info here: http://www.mwts-training.com/weekly-training (http://www.mwts-training.com/weekly-training)
(very much subject to change)

I, too, work part time just south of there.  Might be why I'm sorta interested. ;)

Any other suggestions as far as day/time?

BTW, the office is now up-and-running. Feel free to stop by and say hi.

Just a few blocks away from my plant. I would be interested once I get caught up at work. Stay away from the piehole [emoji13]
