All ranges except shotgun are closed till further notice as per website.
Details sketchy, but sounds like a possible errant round found its way to a place it shouldn't and someone got hurt, as per brother's ' shootin pard' from there. Currently being investigated.
We will follow this closely to see how it affects next weekends meeting.

Any updates on this? Should we still buy lunch tickets?

Front page of their website:
ALL RIFLE AND HANDGUN RANGES AND EVENTS ARE CANCELED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
ALL SHOTGUN RANGES AND EVENTS WILL BE OPEN DURING REGULAR HOURS

I'm not sure how this will impact our meeting yet. It will be Monday before I can get with Bill. We do have enough on our agenda that doesn't use the range we will still have the meeting.
So yes, please do purchase your tickets and join us in G.I. however things turn out with the range activities.

I searched the news, but couldn't find anything about this. Does anyone have information on what (if anything) happened?

I heard there was a rumble between some USPSA guys and some IDPA guys about who had the bigger guns.....

Some USPSA guns have red dots on them, which is indicative of a cruel, incurable disease that causes poor posture, drooling and acne. Some who suffer from this horrific disease also display less than average IQ's and halitosis.
Beware of guns with red dots on them!!!

The IDPA guys were probably easy targets with their bright orange "shoot me first" vests.

The "orange vesters" fortunately constitute a very small percentage of members within the IDPA ranks. For reasons known only to them, these entirely superficial folks willingly choose fashion over function.
I recently read a book by Elmer Keithingwell called "Hell, I Was There and Got Shot To Pieces." It is the gripping account of what happens to an "orange vester" during a C-Store robbery stage at a major IDPA match. The book helped me to understand the mentality behind the orange vest.
