Here we learn that LEO's in FL can't shoot straight. Shoot nine times, hit the perp 5, kill a bystander, and hit another cop? Someone stuff that guy behind a desk!

Taxing my memory without looking up the original story;

A number of years ago in Lincoln a male with his brother in the front passenger seat turn into a driveway and started shooting at another male sitting on his front stoop.

The man on the stoop returned fire hitting only the brother in the passenger seat. The guy on the stoop was cleared and the driver was prosecuted for the shooting of his own brother.

Felony murder rule. If anyone dies while you are committing a felony, you are liable for murder. Some states it doesn't apply to accomplices but in others it does.
