This was posted by Omaha Mayor Stothert on Facebook today. How many of our members in Omaha want to express their thoughts on Omaha firearms ordinances? Maybe you have some thought regarding registration? Here is a great chance to go have your opinion heard.
Town Hall meetings start this month, one in each City Council District. The first Town Hall is September 15th at 7:00 p.m. at the Benson Library 6015 Binney. City Council President Pete Festersen and city department heads will also attend. This is your chance to ask questions and participate in an open discussion about city and neighborhood issues. The other dates are:
September 22, October 8, October 20, October 22, October 27 and October 30. Complete list of locations will be available next week. We had great attendance last year, hope to see you in the crowd.

Did anyone here make it to the one last night? sounds like it was rather exciting. It's fun to see an elected representative react to the complaints brought forward by those in attendance.

If he gets riled up that easy he has no business being in the position he holds. I also recall him going off on people with his wife's scandal. I hope more do the same in the future.
