A couple of years ago I was instrumental in initiating a Federal lawsuit here in New Mexico. At the behest of my friend Alan Gottlieb I located and prepared the plaintiff for a suit challenging the state requirement that a CCW can only be issued to a U.S. Citizen.
This is the same lawsuit that SAF and the NFOA filed on behalf of a Nebraska man.
It has been a long arduous process but I am pleased to report that the plaintiff in the New Mexico case, John Jackson, notified me that today he received his NM CHL.
Score another one for the good guys!

Is Nuevo Mejico still part of the US (ref Matt Bracken Enemies Foreign & Domestic series)?

For now Bullit, but we are considering giving every thing back that is inside a ring of customs check points that includes El Paso and Las Cruces. Inside there you can't tell the difference anyway.
