To come to the aid of the NFOA Political action fund. Do not sit back and let others do the heavy lifting...make a donation NOW!

Dan, I know someone told me at one time but I can't remember.  If I'm currently set up for a recurring monthly donation to the NFOA is it possible to switch that to the PAF?

That is a question I can't answer here at work. My guess is you would have to cancel the current one and start a new PAF recurring donation

I was just thinking about this...and how I could help more!

I worked some OverTime hours this past Friday & I will have a little extra cash!

Who else can spare $25 this week?

I will match the donation of the first Four people who can come up with $25 each to donate to the NFOA Political Action Fund!

That way instead of me contributing $100, we can work together towards our common goal & double the donation...

The PAF is on the brink of having enough money in the bank to aggressively go after 2 close state Senate races...

Imagine the difference with 2 more 'YES' votes on Pro Gun bills!

Imagine having 2 more Senators on the judiciary committee!

This election is huge for our state gun rights!  Exiting are longtime freedom haters like McGill, Lathrop, & Ashford....It is up to us to help bring in some better replacements!

The races that the PAF is likely to Target may be won by less than a hundred votes!

I think it's a great time to put our money where our mouth is!

Being separate organizations you would need to setup a new recurring donation with the PAF.  So there is a clear distinction between us and to avoid any potential issues, we are not sharing accounts.

Thank you Farmer Rick & Abbafandr!  I trust that you will make the donation!

I was going to donate some money even if no one read this post, so this is going well!

If anyone wants to help the NFOA PAF but just doesn't have the spare cash before the election, we will be looking for volunteers to help distribute election materials in specific 'targeted' districts!

Thank You three so far!

Who wants to claim my last $25 match?

KaBoom!   Now I feel like I just ran a telethon!  The main difference is that instead of a PBS cloth bag Or picture of the children that you fed in Sudan, you have a chance at a legislature that better represents us!!!

Since its not everyday that the unicameral will have At Least 17 New Senators.....I will match both AWick & BKoenig tonight!

This may mean 200 rounds less of that Speer Gold Dot +P that I have been eye balling this week, but it seemed like the thing to do!

I am tapped out on matching anymore at the moment but I would encourage anyone else who can, to continue to contribute!

You could get creative....Challenge a friend or family member to match your donation, place a friendly bet & have the loser make a contribution!

Look at this one forum thread.... Dan started us off strong & we have now raised an additional $300 for the NFOA Political Action fund this evening!

In 2006 Steve Lathrop defeated Jean Stothert by 14 votes...Imagine for a minute how much better off we would be having had Jean on the Judiciary Committee for the last 8 years!   In a state senate race where it frequently comes down to a very slim margin I am proud to say that we can make a difference!

I want/need to share an update with everyone here.  For those that do not follow the PAF or Friends of the NFOA on facebook I had put out a small fundraising goal on Saturday, that one member blew away within a couple hours of it being posted.  So I set a new goal, for what the PAF should accomplish as well as fundraising.  That is when Dan, then everyone else, stepped in and you can read the rest of the history here.  Well here is what I just posted to facebook:

Another morning update, Thank you everyone from the donations through our online box and those I have been told are being sent our way we have way surpassed this fundraising goal.  I can not express how humbled you have all made me with you generosity.  But I don't want to dissuade anyone from making a donation, because of the overage already received we are looking into other things we can do yet this session to help our candidates.

I like it when you folks make me work, it means we are accomplishing something.

What this means is I know need to find another thing we can do to help our candidates win this election, we may not be like the Teachers union that can drop over $50,000 into one race (and they have money going into lots of races) but we can do things selectively that can counter those funds with small well timed movements.  It's not always about the money, it's also about the message and how the boots on the ground work.

You would not believe the waste I have seen in some campaigns, upsizing a mail piece by 1/2" and quadrupling the mailing cost because a campaign manager gets a kickback from the printer.

I have received in kind donations to produce lists of voters to target (no wasting money on sending mail to people that it would not have an effect on, or worse yet cause to go against our candidate), on using some of the best and most current voter polling information available to help develop the message, and assistance from some of the nation’s top people on putting that message together.

So the donations you are making, because of the in kind donations we are getting, and the support we have from others to reduce costs, we are able to make a $5 donation do $25 worth of work.

A huge THANK YOU to each & everyone that contributed!

Not to name names.......but...... Thanks to Dan W, Gumby, Rick, B Koenig, Abbafandr, AWick, OnTheFly, Farmer Bob, ThirtyDaze, Critter, Robert H, Greg, & SandHillian!

I will be making my $125 matching donation tomorrow...Long story short, my new job doesn't offer direct deposit...I made a special trip to deposit my paycheck last night & missed the cutoff time....

Individually we might struggle to get results....but as an organized group, we are a force to be reckoned with!

I should be there, Andy may be in attendance, Rod....  Some one there will take your money.
But we'd better get it early before the DR. Pepper and Bacon start flowing

Got my contribution processed!

Not trying to brag but I thought I'd post it for those of you who matched me!

Just a reminder.....Amanda Mcgill only won her senate seat in 2010 by 452 votes!

Let's hope she loses the auditor race by 10 or 100 times that.  Her political career needs to come to a screeching halt NOW.
