At issue is a 27-year-old Chicago law banning handguns, requiring the annual taxation of firearms, and otherwise interfering with the right of law-abiding individuals to keep guns at home for self-defense. The case was brought on behalf of four Chicago residents, the Second Amendment Foundation, and the Illinois State Rifle Association

This is a case where grass roots organizations are taking charge, with a little help from the CCRKBA. Notice there is no mention of the NRA, until it looks like the SAF will win, then they will jump on board. This is a good tool to use against those who think that belonging to the NRA is all they need to do.

AAllen and I met Alan Gura and Alan Gottlieb in St. Louis at the Gun Rights Policy Conference, they are the go-getters when it comes to domestic issues, and are running on an adrenaline high right now. Alan Gura is far more deserving of a Nobel than Obama.
