all guns must be tied coming in the door,

Forgive my ignorance, but, how does one tie a gun and does this include CCW?

No loaded firearms allowed, that includes CCW.  If you have a firearm for sale, you have to go to a special table and they will zip tie it so someone can't chamber a round.

no loaded weapons by anyone, except for police in uniform. they buy insurance from the NRA, and that's in the limits, and all guns have to be zip tied.

Diverting from topic...

The NRA compromises once more, but that's understandable because those zip ties are impenetrable.  I feel SO much safer at these gun shows because of zip ties.

...and now back to your regularly scheduled program.

Ive heard, ( not me!!!) but some dealers put the ties on loose, so people can work the action, or look down the barrel, it gets old cutting them off then putting them back on, but you gotta have the insurance, and it was at a Lincoln gun show at the fair grounds where a weapon went off and someone was hurt, I was at that show, the gun had been on the table all day long, several people had looked at it, it was empty, but then the next person, ignoring rule 1, fired the weapon,
all it could have been was someone came in the show with a shell in there pocket, and put it in the gun,

...but you gotta have the insurance...

The NRA needs to find a more gun friendly insurance company.

...and it was at a Lincoln gun show at the fair grounds where a weapon went off and someone was hurt...

They need to nail the guilty person to the wall, but don't lump the rest of us in the same group.

I know.  I'm talking crazy.

2 things...

1) Concealed is concealed.  I generally don't go in through the front doors, so I don't happen to see any signs.  Opps....
Everyone who carries generally does so at gun shows too. The dealers know it. The promoters know it. It's just not talked about.   :-X

2) Not everyone coming through those doors is a firearms aficionado like most of us here. Many have never seen or touched a gun in person before. I'm all for zip-tying the guns.

What's the cost of a table?

Is there any law against possessing or selling plastic letter openers that look and function like knives but are letter openers and not knives?

I would remind anyone wanting to sell anything the 2nd Amendment says we have a right to keep and bear that there will probably be ATF snitches trolling around looking for victims, so make sure not to go against any of the edicts our caring big brother has imposed on us.  (For those who don't know, ATF stands for Agency for the Termination of Freedom.)

Lets all laugh at the people who think signs keep guns out of schools. Easier to espouse an ideal than live it I suppose
