Bonus payouts at work are the 19th. Looks like a road trip is in my future!!
-
I can't find any information on this show anywhere. Where is it?
-
Christensen Field, NW side of Fremont, NE.
It Googles nicely for directions. [Christensen Field Fremont NE] Just Copy and Paste.
And it's usually one of the better gun shows.

Just got back from a morning at the Fremont/Elkhorn Valley Rifle Club gun show.
One of the better shows in this part of the area. As usual.
LOTS of handguns. All calibers and configurations. Pricey, as usual at gun shows. Better deals here on the Forum and from individuals, but then.......where's the selection that's available at the F/EVRC gun show.
Lots of rifles. From interesting and shootable relics up to modern hunter/sporters. Lotsa AR and black rifles. And suppressors. And accessories.
Shotguns somewhat scarcer. Especially trap/skeet guns. Midwest Stock Makers (Steve Reynolds) has a new wrinkle on recoil reduction.
Quite a bit of ammo and reloading components. 3-Lees from GI/NE was there.
Plus knives and axes. Big library of used gun/shooting/hunting books.
Not so much non-gun junk, though, as sometimes seen at gunshows. If you're a damYankee carpetbagger, those were being sold. Plus some very nice leatherworked guncases.
Morning was heavily attended. For all the pushing, shoving, and body contact, I'da druthered it was a Hooters conference. And....If you want to show off your beard, that's the place to go and do it. Many, many in evidence. All were manly; some were just plain glorious.
Be sure to go to the annex off the main area. Many tables there, also.
Didn't check out the food, but saw a lot of chomping on sausage and dripply cheesy stuff. Looked delishus.. Dagnabit, maybe I coulda had some pie. If the pie is really good, don't tell me.
Bottom Line:
>Well worth the five buck$ admission. Cheaper than a movie; much more fun. And you can leave when you want. Parking lot was really loaded, but still found open spots. It's a BIG parking lot.
>Bought nothing. Couple of Little Items winked and smiled at me. But nuthin' grabbed my lapels and shouted, "You gotta have me." Escaped, this time.
That's about it for now.

you missed a great show if you didnt go, I sat there for 2 days. plus Friday evening, bought a lot of stuff, 3 lowers, couple of parts kits, 2 charging handles, couple of buffer tube sets, and a 4,000 watt inverter for a solar set up. sold a lot of stuff. actually came home with more money than I went with,
funny thing is, I sold a lot, but the truck was packed more coming home than was going there!
also handed out a lot of NFOA flyers, Im gonna need more of them,,

Shooter:
Can you wear a Blaze Orange jumpsuit and hat so that the rest of us Forum members can pick you and your tables out of the maddening crowd?
It didn't take long for the Gun-Show-Glazeover to set in on my eyesight, thereby dimming my perception. So I never saw the NFOA materials and thereby missed meeting you amid your favorite surroundings.
Maybe at the CB gun show, coming up.

OK........
But please don't say, "He's the One With the Beard..........."

I don't have a beard either, I cant believe you didn't see me. you must be missing a lot of deals at the show, I had 16 ft of tables, I had NFOA papers every four feet across the table, 4 stacks, how could you miss that ,
But anyway, Ive had people tell me they looked all over for something, and I would point at my table, and it was close enough to bite them,
and I go to shows Friday nite to set up, I go all around and look at what other dealers have for sale, then sat, I make many passes around the show, then late sunday. someone will go by my table carrying something I was searching for, I ask where they got it, and they point to the table next to mine
-
I also missed your table Sunday and I was looking for it :'(

I went on Saturday morning and found some very good prices on ammo and sold a gun. It was a very fruitful day!
