This is the first 88 Tactical Intermediate TacMed class of 2016. Get in on it now before its 100 degrees out.
Date- April 3rd 8am-6pm
Description- This course teaches the use of a basic trauma kit, bleeding control techniques,treating penetrating chest trauma, airway issues, shock and shooting while wounded techniques. Focus is on the basics of treating trauma in a threat environment, one handed firearms skills, fighting from the ground and evacuating and safe guarding casualties. Students must be able to confidently and safely use a handgun in a wide variety of circumstances.
Equipment Requirements: eye and ear protection, semi-auto pistol with rear sight ledge, 400 rounds factory new ammunition, weather appropriate clothing, a packed lunch and water bottle, pen and note pad for note taking.
Eligibility Requirements: Prior intermediate level or above handgun training required.
