I am not able to volunteer, but I am curious if promoter of this show is going to allow CHP holders to enter while carrying. Last time it was the typical "insurance" issue.
-
I imagine it will be the same' ol BS this time, the sad part is last time we were all told it was hunky dory and then we got there and signs everywhere. So I'd say just play it by ear.
-
I was very disappointed in the last show. Probably the smallest and worst gun show I've ever attended.

I didn't think it was too bad at all for their first show at that facility. They just seemed to have all of the tables scrunched together.
You should go to the Westfair show sometime... that one is a real joke, and the Missouri Valley show could fit in the average sized 2 car garage.
-
Jesse, I am pretty certain I can help Sunday afternoon 12-4
-
Since the event is in Lincoln it will probably be posted. DMV's, bus stops, parking garages, and most other city property are all posted by Lincoln ordinance.
I may be able to help on Saturday, I'll check what I have going on that weekend.
-
Lancaster Event Center is privately owned and operated
-
Yes, the Event Center does not prohibit legal concealed carry. Used to, but took the signs down about 6 mos. ago.
-
I am going to be there sometime over the weekend. I will help if needed.
-
What are we expecting here with the Big Buck Classic going on simultaneously? Will there be many people there at tables or what?
-
I confirmed our table today. Dan, since I am supposed to be in Omaha Sunday, can you be responsible for taking down our sign/holding on to materials Sunday at this show? I can pick stuff up from you later in the week or Sunday eve if need be.
The lady said she had to rent additional tables this time so I am hoping that means more vendors will be there...
Please come see us! And have a seat at the table so I'm not there talking to myself all day Saturday! :)

Yes, that is not a pretty sight at all...please stop by to help out and keep Jesse company. >:D
;)

Right at this moment I am hoping to feel better for work tomorrow. Hopefully I will not be sick this weekend.
-
Looks like I can help Sat morning. Then try to go to the Classic on Sun.
-
Isn't the "Man Show" or something like that going on at the Event Center, too this weekend?
-
Friday and Saturday 2 pm to 11 pm, $5.00.
Tools, sports and booze served by girls.

I'd say all the better reason to add in a gun show :)

I have been searching for the answer to this question, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Is there a charge for admission to the gun show?

$4

Thank you Dan.

Edit: My bad...missed the admission cost on page one.

Come out and visit us! The show is much better than the fall one, tables are spread out more and attendance seems a little better so far! We'd love to see you!

Any good stuff at the gun show? Besides the NFOA of course.
Did they put up any "No CC" signs at the event?
Thanks,
Fly
-
Yea there Are no-CCW signs again and yes there are guns... Good deals or not depends on your point of view
-
We had a good time at the Lincoln Show today. Great to work with Jesse and Terry. Got to meet some other members as well. Thanks for stopping by and introducing yourselves.
Like Jesse said, it was a better show this time. They had it spread out and organized.
Well off to bed, tomorrow it's on to the Classic in Omaha.

Preliminary count of registrations is 93 new members from this show! Thanks to those who came out to support us! Saw a lot of friendly NFOA faces, talked to the Treasurer for the UNL Rifle club, had a lot of fun talking with Gunscribe Sunday afternoon! See you all at the next one!
Also I talked to the lady who runs the show. Her insurance through the NRA requires her to post the no CCW signs. She was open to the idea of trying a different insurance that wont require it, however it was her understanding that there were no other companies who provide gun-show insurance. I have a hard time believing this is true, I am sure I have been to gun shows that WEREN'T posted. Does anyone know who I could talk to or any other gun show runners who are CCW friendly so I could call them and ask who they use for insurance? Need to do some research and maybe we can help her get those silly signs down.

I call BS. There's no way the NRA would support a company that's anti-CCW.
-
Thanks to the guys that were there manning the table, both were friendly and very good PR for us. Finally got two of my friends to sign up.
-
yep, it was a good show. there was a lot of guns and knives or whatever else you needed/wanted. as for deals..... i didn't see much. AR's and AK's were still pretty high (to me that is).
i did buy a tactical vest. so i didn't leave empty handed.
