Is anyone interested in organizing a Second Amendment March this Spring? The event would be held at the Capitol building and be done around the same time as the Natiol march.
I can't do it. I would help if needed to the best of my abilities.

i would love to.... but i would have a hard time making it to Lincoln. my gas funds are limited and my truck isnt interstate friendly. but i would definetly be interested.

If we have one, I will start at Kearney and pick people up along the interstate until the Sequioa is full, room for 7 in there.

I would like to be involved. I will be bringing as many from North Platte as I can.

Before people start planning someone needs to organize the effort.
The National march is April 19th I believe. However that is a very bad day (Oklahoma City bombing anniversery). So if this is to be done with the NFOA being involved it has to be on a differant day and really have little association with the National event.
The march would have to be done at the Capitol building in Lincoln. We'll have to have spreakers, equipment, permits, all sorts of things.
It's a big effort to do this.
Like I said before I can not organize this due to the time involved.
So someone will have to step up and run with this if it is to be done.

I do not think the 19th is a bad day. And it is a national event. I plan to be in Lincoln on the 19th for the second amendment march. I took the time off from work, and I am bringing others. I will contact Skip from the official site and talk to him. I will also see about the permits and such.

Huskergun, I stand corrected! I called and talked to the folks at Second Amendment March, they think your idea of having it on another day for Nebraska is a good idea. So now you guys in the east need to figure out when you want to have a march in Lincoln so I can schedule the time off to come. Also, if someone wants to raise some money for it, I will send 50.00 to that fund. Thanks.
