Title: State Patrol Superintendent
Post by: RICHARD D LONG on September 11, 2017, 01:51:47 PM
Do we need to be concerned that the new head of the State Patrol is from California?  Hopefully he doesn't bring those opinions with him.

I had that same thought when I heard about the news.   I don't know anything about him.

I understand the angst, but the Gov hired him.  I would hope due diligence was done.

1) He spent most of his career in Minnesota.  The conservative parts.  2) San Diego is the conservative part of California, and SD Harbor PD even more conservative than SD PD.

Remember how many prominent Republicans came from California, not the least of which was our 40th president.
Interesting to see the spread of registered voters by county, Orange county specifically.  Calif is over-run by liberals but not _everyone_ from cali leans that way  8)

You mean the Republican president who signed the 86 machine gun ban into law.  He was a professional actor who's lifetime was making people believe he was someone who he was not.

You mean the same Ronald Reagan who appointed Antonin Scalia to the Supreme Court?
