Title: RIP Fred O. Ragle Sr.
Post by: RLMoeller on May 08, 2011, 12:12:46 PM
I was informed by a friend yesterday that Fred Ragle passed away recently.   I had only talked with him on the phone, never met him in person.   I know several members have had him do work for them.  For those that do not recognize the name, Fred was a gunsmith.  The name of his business was Gun & Machine, located on Western Ave in Omaha.

I don't know any more details about what happened.  A friend had heard from the UPS driver on that route so we spent a few minutes searching the web and found the obituary.  He passed away on April 30th.

its always a shame when we lose someone so knowledgeable.  My grandfather and I had this conversation many times prior to his passing.

I wish i would have written some of the information down he took with him.

RIP Fred.  Never knew you, but I wish I had.

Sad to hear. I only met him a twice. Seemed like a good guy.
