Precision Response Training will be holding a Close Quarters Technique class on Sept 30-Oct 01. (Friday evening 6-9pm, Saturday all day.)
This is NOT a class about for military CQB or LEO house-clearing---this is a class designed for people who carry handguns who wish to understand how to defend themselves in the situation most likely to occur---with attackers at 3 yards or less. The ability to acquire your weapon, aim accurately, and retain your firearm in the midst of a close-range altercation is extremely important--and most likely, something you haven't trained.
Includes life-fire practice and force-on-force training.

Registration is available on the website (and all registrations are handled by secure server---your information is protected).
Please carefully read the "Ability Requirements" section of the informational page. Note also: You will be working energetically with a partner in this class, and the force-on-force evolutions can stressful. You don't have to be in perfect (or even good) shape for this course---but you will be moving around. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at prt@precisionresponse.4t.com
Registration is limited to 8 students, so if you are interested, reserve your spot early. If all slots are filled, you will be notified by email and put on a waiting list for future slots as they become available, if you wish.

Just registered for this class. Sounds like great training for all of us that carry everyday.

I haven't received a confirmation email for this class yet. Maybe you all are waiting to see how many sign up. I did get an email notifying me that my request went through. Just curious.

We got your registration---you'll get your official confirmation probably later this week. Don't worry---we will be having the class, and you are in it. :)
(I have had a couple of people who were forced to bow out and reschedule for a different class due to family/business commitments, so I do have some spots left, for those who were interested.)
Make sure you have a practice barrel or visible barrel blocker for the class. Should be a good time!

Ok, where do I get a barrel blocker? I do not have one and can't seem to find one.
I've got a chamber flag, but it doesn't allow you to dry fire. It holds the action open just a little.

I really regret having to cancel this class. Just got back from WV. Did you get my email? I never got a response from you after I emailed you letting you know I wouldn't be able to attend.

Hm. Yes, we got your email---I sent you a response that day. I'll resend it today when I get back to my work computer. (Sorry it didn't seem to go through the first time---we weren't ignoring you!)
