Title: Heartland Liberty Fest Aug. 6th

The NFOA will have a table at this event, entrance is free so if anyone wishes to stop by and help out for a while it would be appreciated.

We will have T-Shirts, buttons, stickers, patches and a few autographed books available for those that wish to donate to the NFOA.

Of course we will also be signing up new members so it has to be a good time.

Dang, this looks like something good to be involved in, but alas, I will be somewhere in the woods with the boys. 
Looks like a great chance to rub elbows with a different demography than we get at gun shows.

Looks like the venue is not CCW-friendly.

Prohibited Items/Activities:
Smoking
Alcoholic beverages sealed or otherwise without the express written consent of the City
Outside food and beverages without the expressed written consent of the City
Recording equipment of any kind (except with entertainment approval)
Weapons, drugs, fireworks, laser pointers, or instruments
Throwing toys including beach balls and Frisbees
Pets (except guide dogs and service animals)
Coolers (Unless approved with event permit)
Glass or opened containers of any kind
Flags, banners, or streamers
Umbrellas, tents, or shades
Skateboards or inline skates

It is a political event so it is banned for CCW anyway.  :(

....which makes me wonder, what difference does it make what the topic of an event is about  that should prohibit one from being able to carry a concealed weapon?? ??

I thought this was a music event. . .   With some people that like to talk taking the stage on occasion.
