Thanks to my old roommate bailing and dumping his half of the rent on me a couple months ago, i have been handgun-less for a while. (Btw, thanks to the member that bought my PK380, you have no idea how much that helped me) Anywho, I made the mistake of going into Thunder Alley last night with money in my wallet.
Walked out with this,

Ruger LC9
First Impression:
LONG trigger
Low recoil for a 9mm with a short barrel
Action is smooth, easy target re-aquisition.
Light and slim
Definitely going to take a little getting used to.

Congrats. Not bad, not bad at all.
-
Nice, that would make a good carry gun.
-
thats the intention Brian, just need to get a bit more familiar with it.
-
my dad also brought my Christmas present up, this was my grandfather's revolver when he was my age.

Thunder alley opens at noon. Thinking maybe 1pm. Gonna go buy some ammo at Scheels, they have cheap Federal 9mm for about $13/ box of 50. Plus I need some .22.

I like that lil .22 (I like old guns) It's different and simple. H&R built some cool stuff.
-
Sorry, I didn't see this

Sorry, I didn't see this until now. Spent the day in the garage turning large pieces of metal into smaller pieces of metal.
