Title: Anybody been to Hamburg Bend recently?

Hoping to go shooting there a couple times in the coming month.  Any ground/weather related issues I need to be made aware of beforehand?

Also, does anybody have any pics of the area?  I know the general area, but I'd like to know exactly what I'm looking for.

Got back a little while ago.  Ground was soft, but where we were (north end) wasn't a sloppy mud mess.  Anybody who wants to is good to go.

FYI everybody the site is closed for construction. 

Last time I was down there about a month ago there were some guys surveying and driving up and down the berm but it was still open at that point.  No clue what they are working on or when it will be open again.

Wow, sorry Tracy had no idea... it was GTG when I was there in late Feb...

I would guess that this is part of the levy repairs from last years flooding.  Those berms are actually part of the levy system so they are being checked out and raised/repaired as needed.
