Post by: RobertH on April 16, 2012, 09:14:51 AM
for those of you who run or exercise while carrying, how do you do it?  how do you carry a gun, ID's and extra mag/speedloader?

I use an OWB holster but I usually jog at night.  If I do jog during the day, I have a ruger LCP that can be carried anywhere in anyway.  For jogging I would get a jogging gun because the rust gets to them fast.

An LCP in a IWB hoster wont be noticed if your shirt is untucked.

Here you go:

I run with a S&W 642 in the PT-2 holster.  Works great.  I specifically wanted a stainless gun for running because as mentioned above your sweat will rust a gun FAST.

I have this humorous image in my mind of a woman standing in front of a BG with their gun in hand and a bra hanging off of it.  The Flashbang would probably work best with a bra that has strong straps and clasps.

I think it is the most brilliant decoy ever.  Tell me what bad guy (or good guy) isnt going to stop dead in their tracks and forget every other thing in the world the second a lady starts to pull up her shirt.  And then - BLAMMO!

Talk about getting taken by suprise....

I would be interested to see if they had models in their other videos that were carrying larger calibers.

You might check out the 5.11 Tactical Holster Shirt: http://www.511tactical.com/All-Products/Shirts/Undergear-Shirts/Holster-Shirt.html# (http://www.511tactical.com/All-Products/Shirts/Undergear-Shirts/Holster-Shirt.html#)

Give some conderation to an extra sweat barrier.  You'll also want to clean (at least the exterior) of your gun after every exercise session.  I wipe mine down with a Hoppe's silicon cloth before and after too.

I second that question.  I've been looking for a running/biking carry method without going to a fanny pack.  The shirts are high on my list of carry methods I'd like to try.  Right now I'd be looking at carrying an LCP most of the time and maybe a Kahr MK9 (kind of heavy though).  Definitely don't want to rust out my guns.

Anyone try the holster shirts here http://bellybandccw.com/ (http://bellybandccw.com/) ?
