Title: CMP Special Grade 30-06 M1 Garand
Post by: NENick on April 21, 2012, 09:34:21 AM
To piggy back off of NE Bulls topic - I'm about two weeks away from sending in the paperwork for a CMP Special Grade 30-06 M1 Garand. Does anyone have experience or recommendations?

I would love to have a rifle with more parts that are a part of history, but I don't want to feel bad about making new dings and wear. The more original rifles can go to better homes.

The idea of a new barrel, stock, and refinished parts rocks my socks off.
