Remove thread please. I didn't get all my facts right. :'(

Brad I like many on the forum that this comes from question the list. I spoke with Senator Johanns about this a couple of months ago and at that time he did not support it.
-
Did you notice that every name on the list are Republicans? >:D
-
That list is bogus.
-
Found similar ones on several sights to make sure it was legit. Appeared to be since several sights had it listed. These were only the Republican ones and didn't have Democrats listed with them. However the John McCain one did seem fishy. Hopefully he responds and calls me an idiot if I am wrong.
EDIT: Found 1 site so far that is opposite of what I originally posted, I think. Why is it so hard to find all the things our representatives are supporting or not supporting?

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Mike Johanns (R-Neb.) today, along with 50 of his Senate colleagues, wrote President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton expressing concerns about the United Nations’ (U.N.) Arms Trade Treaty. The senators said they would oppose ratification of the treaty if it restricts the rights of law-abiding American gun owners.
“As the treaty process continues, we strongly encourage your administration not only to uphold our country’s constitutional protections of civilian firearms ownership, but to ensure – if necessary, by breaking consensus at the July conference – that the treaty will explicitly recognize the legitimacy of lawful activities associated with firearms, including but not limited to the right of self-defense,” the senators wrote. “As members of the United States Senate, we will oppose the ratification of any Arms Trade Treaty that falls short of this standard.”
