I am in the process of setting up this class........... Since the Omaha Police Dept has banned regular citizens who qualify to take the Glock Armorer class (from attending the one they host), I am once again setting up one that is friendly for all that qualify.
You must be a GSSF member (or active Law Enforcement, Private Security or Military) in order to take this class.
Class is 8a-5pm done in one day. Lunch is included in the cost of the class
Cost is $195 - Certification is good for 3 years. - Certification allows you to order parts direct from Glock, and also purchase two LE discount Glocks per year (which is a very generous discount)
Post here if you are interested in possibly taking this class. Need to gauge if there is enough interest.
-
Chris I'd be interested, depending on fundage after the first of the year
-
Hmmmmm....
perhaps. Actually, I'll go ahead and say yes, I am interested.
Is an AR CAC card good enough or do I still have to join GSSF?
-
Definitely interested. Except Tuesdays will most likely not work with school...

Thanks Chris.

This class is confirmed to happen on Feb 12th in Syracuse. You can sign up at www.Glocktraining.com (http://www.Glocktraining.com)
This class is taught will by Glock Professional Inc Instructor who will be traveling here. They will provide the pistols, handouts and lunch.
Cost of the class is $195 - Paid to GLOCK TRAINING
NE Firearms Training LLC is simply the organizer/host of this class. All registrations and fees are to Glock Training.
Email chris@neccwtraining.com if you have any questions and I will be happy to help

Finally got my GSSF renewal in the mail.
Signed up for class, now the waiting begins...
-
If you want to take this class, I highly recommend you register soon! We need to get some more people signed up for this class to make sure it happens.
I don't believe they require payment right away, as long as you are paid by the day of class
-
This sounds like a great class. May have to look into it, if I ever decide to get a Glock.
Does Springfield offer anything like this?
-
Looks like the Springfield classes are taught by Team One....... Dang, I thought the Glock class was expensive..... This would be very hard to fill!

Folks, bad news from Glock. Their new National Sales Manager has cancelled the LE discount of pistols for certified Armorers. I know some people have justified the cost of this class by how much $$$ you will save on buying a couple pistols. So I want everyone to know that you can no longer get those discounted pistols (unless you are LE/MIL/FIRE.... (And of course GSSF members can get their one pistol). If you want to cancel taking the class for that reason, please do so soon, so I have a good idea of if there is enough attendees to still make the class go.
-
Wow, that is crazy that Glock is doing that. It's not like they lose money on the LE discount pricing for Armorers!
To be honest, I am glad I took the class even without getting the LE discount. Knowing how the gun works and how to fix it on the rare occasion that it doesn't is worth the class itself. Hopefully Glock changes their minds back in the future!
-
Hopefully they intend on fulfilling current Armorer discount orders (cuz they sure as heck charged my CC in early October).....with a shipping date in late January.

I just received a couple guns from Glock last week (one was an Armorer gun that was ordered in Oct). Sorry Bullit, they weren't yours :-) I'm sure that your will probably be coming
